See Kai Run

So I have kind of a funny story. I have been looking for these shoes for about a month now for Elle. I have looked on Ebay and they never seem to have this particular style listed. There is a local children's shop here in Flagstaff that sells them but they were all out of her size. So I decided to call my mom and see if she could find them in Boise. Because there is a store that sells them there. So she hopped on online and noticed a pair sz4 pop up on Ebay and told me to check it out. So I did. I noticed the seller was in Flagstaff, so I sent her an email to see if I could pick them up instead of paying the shipping cost. She said that would not be a problem. Well long story short the seller was a friend of my in my ward, so she shut the auction down and sold them to me and brought them by my house. Small world! Thanks Natalie!
Arent these soo cute. I love them. I think they will be perfect for spring and summer.
Check out all of there shoes. www.seekairun.com

Snow days
When I first thought about working at Gore and living in Flagstaff ARIZONA (emphasis added intentionally), I would have never imagined anywhere in Arizona snowed this much. I have had to shovel my driveway every morning for the past five days. Here are some pics of us (Paige excluded) enjoying "the moisture" we've prayed and fasted for.
Because of all the snow, Drew has picked up some new "hobbies". He got really into Star Wars game. Really really into it. When he was moving the guys around he would move the controller in the direction he wanted it to go. After about the tenth complete meltdown associated with the game, we had to put it "off limits". Besides he's still too young to have his brain fried by video games (maybe we'll wait till he's five).

Day at the Mall!

Well, it was another freezing cold day in Flagstaff so we decided to go to the mall amd play. Elle is really starting to enjoy activites like this. She thinks she is a real big Girl! It's cute because Drew looks out for her. I heard him say "I Love you too Sissy". He says that because I think he is a little emabarssed to say that so he acts like she said it first. So Sweet!Wednesday, February 20, 2008
Poor Poor Elle

Weekend in Phoenix
We went to phoenix for the weekend. Mainly so I could run a 10k. I've had the goal for a while to break 50 min in the 10k (I know that doesn't sound impressive to you hard core runners), and I'm happy to report that I DID IT! (49:09 gun time, :01 according to my watch). Not that it matters because I was just racing myself, but I should mention that I placed first in my division (Male 25-29) and 34 out of 418 overall.

Me happy that it's over
After the race Drew didn't feel like having his picture taken and right after this picture we noticed that we were totally blocked in by cars (just like the red car behind me). Thankfully Paige and I pulled off some fancy manuvering and we were just able to squeeze by some cars to get out.

Of course no trip to Phoenix would be complete with out a meal at IN-N-OUT
Twice

We did the usual Phoenix stuff like go to IKEA, Anthem Park and the Outlets in Anthem. Don't you just love Phoenix weather in February!

We had some "tired" moments

But overall we had a good time. Funny things Drew kept saying: "lets go to kleenex (phoenix)" when we were already in Phoenix, "I want to go to the hotel", "I want to go to the train park".

To all Spongebob haters
As some of you may know, Drew is a fan of the infamous Spongebob Squarepants. Yesterday we were at the library and he picked up a Spongebob DVD. On the back was this picture. He came up to me and said, "Spongebob Texas". I looked and sure enough Spongebob was in the shape of Texas. I asked him what Texas was and he said, "A State" and "Sandy's from Texas". Who says Spongebob isn't educational. -Paige
Justin is obsessed!
Just so ya'll know I did not post this. Justin is totally obsessed. Flagstaff has rubbed off on him in a big way. At least it is a healthy obsession. But we are proud of him and his dedication to running.

Elle's 1st Birthday
Now I'm going blog crazy. Here are some photo's from Elle's first birthday. She really liked her cupcake and got it all over herself. She also really liked getting her carseat turned around. She smiled for like 30 min. after we turned it around.

First Post
Ok, So I don't know what the heck I'm doing. Thought this would be a cool way to keep in touch with everybody and share photos etc. Be patient while I figure this out. Below are some photo's we took on our recent trip to Disneyland. We got to go because work sent me to the MedicalDesign&Manufacturing expo in Anaheim. I think we all had a really good time. My Mom Dad Brother Brandon and his wife were able to join us there. Drew was really excited to go and had been talking about it for days before we left. I think his favorite rides were the Astro Blaster (he called it Buzz or shoot badguys) and Thunder Mountain (train rollercoaster). He of course had to ride anything that was train related. The weather was pretty good most of the time, not as warm as we would have liked but definitly warmer than Flagstaff. In fact when we got home we were greeted with about a foot of snow and two days later in snowed another two feet. I hope it's done snowing now, but I doubt it.
