Out of the mouth of my Babe!

I decided I need to start posting all of the hilarious things that Drew says so we don't forget.

Today we were at Dairy Queen after dinner and I ordered Drew a plain ice cream cone and myself a chocolate dipped cone. So his came first and than a minute or two later they handed me mine and Drew said "I had no idea they had chocolate". It was way funnier in person than on paper but that kid cracks me up.

Tonight when Justin was putting Drew to bed he started to read a book when Drew chimed in and started to read (recite) the entire book word for word. We were pretty amazed that he had memorized the entire book. He is getting too big!

Happy 4th Birthday Drew Man!!

I cannot believe my baby is 4. I was thinking Drew has been around as long as I was in High School which seems forever. I don't remember life without him. He is such a sweet handsome boy and we love him very much. He definitely keeps us on our toes and laughing all day. For instance the other day Elle was having a particularly rough day and Drew said to me "mommy can we take Elle back to the baby store and get a new baby?". And that same day he looked at Elle and said "You need a nap!" And he is so sweet. Saturday at Justin's work party they had a ride that was swings that go around. Drew was behind me and I turned around and said "Mommy doesn't like this ride" (because I was beginning to feel sick) And with a very concerned look on his face he held up his hands and said "Hold on Mommy just wait until the ride is over". Love this kid.

Ryan James Wilkins

I am so excited, my good friend Amber had her third Baby last night Ryan James Wilkins 6lbs 10oz. He is so cute and looks just like his big brother Isaac. Amber has been a great friend while I have lived here in Flagstaff. She is one of a kind, I know I will never meet anyone like her in my life again. I am so sad because she is moving back to Salt Lake next month but also excited for her to be near her family again. Amber I love you Congratulations and I am going to miss you like crazy!!

Bethany and I. Bethany is due with her first girl in about a week. She reminds me a lot of my sister Piper, so in a way I kind of see her as a sister.

Isaac and Eliza holding their new baby brother. Drew sure is going to miss this kid. They are best buds.

San Diego Report

Here are some pictures of our recent trip to San Diego. Work sent me there for a conference and we figured it would be a good opportunity for a family mini-vacation. Paige's Mom and sister joined us. We spent one day at the beach where I realized it had been way too long since my last surfing attempt. It was cool because we visited belmont park and went on some rides. We also spent a day at the zoo and at sea world. They were both fun but exhausting days. I spent the rest of the time at the conference but got to go to a Padres game and see Greg Maddox pitch and tour the USS Midway (aircraft carrier museum). Paige and the kids spent some time at Sea World and did some shopping while I was conferencing. It was good to get away, but we were surprised at how cold it was. It was mid 60's to low 70's the whole time which was nice for walking around the zoo and Sea World, but a bit chilly for a day at the beach.

Happy Daddy's Day!

I titled this post Happy Daddy's Day because this morning when I was telling Drew it was Father's Day he would say "He is not my Father he is just Daddy". So there you go. I also couldn't resist this picture of Elle.

Tonight after dinner we were going to go make a fire and roast marshmallows but I have a headache and didn't feel like going so Justin just decided to take the kids anyway. And Elle was still in her church clothes so this is what he came up with. As much as I try to "fool" proof her closet he still manages to come up with something interesting. Texas onesie, hi-water jeans, and tennis shoes. All of the least girly things in her closet. But that is Justin in a nut shell. Even though it is Father's Day he is still selfless and thinking of me and the kids before himself. (although he wanted to have a fire too) I could not have hand picked a better Father for my kids myself. Oh wait I guess in a sense i kind of did. But how can you really know if someone is going to be a good Father? Anyway we all love him to pieces and probably count on him way too much but what can I say he is the best!! We love you! Happy Father's Day!

These are the cards Drew and Elle made for him!

Tagged By Bethany

Ok so I kinda got tagged by Bethany and the only reason I am doing it is because it is different than other tags. It is pretty interesting. I have to take pics of different places of my house and me. Here it goes.

Self Portrait

Show us the Favorite room in your house

I picked this room because I wanted to give a shout out to Bethany for making my "napkin pillows". And Theresa for recovering my ottoman.

Show us your kitchen sink

Show us your second Bathroom

Show us your Laundry Room

Well thats it I forgot to take pics of a few things. So feel free to add them on your own like Master Bedroom closet, favorite shoes, and inside of refrigerator.

I tag all who read this.

Good Morning!

A lot of times in the morning if Drew hears Elle is awake he will go in her room and they will talk for a while before we get up. It is so cute and sweet how Drew helps take care of his Sister. This is a little video of the two the other morning.

T-Ball

Drew just had his last T-Ball game and I finally remembered to bring my camera. He finally caught on to the basics so next year will probally be a better season.

Drew was often found like this in the field.

And like this: Hat low and to the side.
