San Diego Report

Here are some pictures of our recent trip to San Diego. Work sent me there for a conference and we figured it would be a good opportunity for a family mini-vacation. Paige's Mom and sister joined us. We spent one day at the beach where I realized it had been way too long since my last surfing attempt. It was cool because we visited belmont park and went on some rides. We also spent a day at the zoo and at sea world. They were both fun but exhausting days. I spent the rest of the time at the conference but got to go to a Padres game and see Greg Maddox pitch and tour the USS Midway (aircraft carrier museum). Paige and the kids spent some time at Sea World and did some shopping while I was conferencing. It was good to get away, but we were surprised at how cold it was. It was mid 60's to low 70's the whole time which was nice for walking around the zoo and Sea World, but a bit chilly for a day at the beach.

Hi guys-I came across your blog from Derek and Jen Downeys friends-Greatest Blog In The Universe(seriously who wouldn't want to check that out) and there you guys were. I'm so glad I found it. It's so fun to see your cute kidos. We ran in to Connie and Tiff and they were telling us how darling your little Elle is. It so crazy to see Drew as such a big boy. You have a cute little family

I love the pic of Drew & Elle peeking out from behind the bug cut-out! It looks like a fun trip, but bummer about the cold. Looking forward to swimming next week, that was a great idea! The blog I just started is at www.arizonagranthams.blogspot.com. =)

What a fun trip! Too bad the weather wasn't as warm as you would have liked. Hope you are enjoying the weather in Flag-is it still nice there?
