Drew : "I'm not feeling so good Mommy"
Me: "I'm sorry"
Drew: "It wasn't you Mommy, it was Daddy"

hmm, wonder what daddy did at work to make him not feel so good.

I celebrated a Birthday a few weeks ago, and when I was in Utah my Mom gave me my present. It was a Vera Bradley Bag and inside she left this note she had written to her Mother.



I am not really one to be senitmental, but this really touched me. I am guessing because I have a daughter of my own now. My Mom and and I are very alike and I can't say I was the easiest teenager to deal with but I am so greatful for the relationship that we have now. Mom, I love YOu!


p.s. that note was written at 7:00pm and I was born around 9:00pm

Car ride talk

On the way to none other then Target.

Drew: "Mommy can I look at toys at Target?"
Me: "Sure if you are a good boy and let mommy shop first"
Drew: "OK Mommy I will give you 5 minutes"
Me: (smile)
