Changed Woman

I am a changed woman, I am happier than I have been in years. I never thought I would say this but, I enjoyed the rain today. Justin and I were just talking about living here and about how we think we could live here forever. Justin said something about winter and I got a pit in my stomach and then realized we will have wonderful winters and became happy again. Love, Love this hot summer we are having. I can handle this any day over brutal winters!


I caught the tail end of the rain storm. This is the view from our back porch. The backyard is a work in progress because the house was vacant for a year.

The Big 5

I can't believe my sweet Drew is 5 years old today.

5 Things I love about my doobers.

1. His love for his friends.
2. He is so polite and gracious.
3. He is passionate about Legos.
4. He always runs and gives Justin or I a hug when we get home even if we have only been gone for 5 minutes.
5. He is HA-LARIOUS!!



He keeps asking me if I miss him now that he is 5. And he keeps saying "you crack me out" (instead of you crack me up)

Diving Board

Drew has learned how to do so many fun things over the last month or two. The main one was swimming and now he has discovered his love for jumping off the diving board
