Dec 28, 2009 7 Year Itch

Justin and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Monday and luckily his mom and sister were in town so we were able to spend the day together. Some people say 7 years is when you start to get a little antsy but I think the 7th year has been the best yet! I am sure it is no coincidence that it has to do with our kids being a little older, out of Flagstaff, and moved to a place that we love. I wont bore you with the mushy stuff but this guy is the best and I am so glad he is mine forever. Love you long time!

Jamie's Bday Surprise

Mary and I planned a little somethin somethin for Jamie's Big 30. And it turned out Fabulous. First a little Dinner at Cheesecake Factory and then an overnighter at the Firesky Resort. I havent laughed that much or stayed up that late in a looong time. Thanks for the great Night Girlies. Happy Birthday Jame!

I decided to throw an Ugly Sweater Party and I think it was a hit. Some went ALL out.

New headboard New Do

After 7 long years of not having a "real" room it is finally happening. Luckily, Jamie had the skill and tools to help me pull off making this headboard. I love it, if I do say so myself. The pics don't do it justice.

Oh and I am brunette again. It has been a while but I am liking it. Good thing I have a talented friend to do room and hair makeovers all in one day!

Holy Cow! We just got back from the little place called Flagstaff (what were we thinking, I knew we moved for a reason...err 500 reasons) Anyway, after many many inches of snow we finally made it and had a great time. But I was so sad that Sarah and fam were stuck on I-17 for several hours and never made it....dang.

Crazy!

Sarah and I were crazy Black Friday shoppers this year although technically we weren't in for the shopping and it wasn't on Friday. Sarah had the brilliant idea to enter a contest to have your mortgage paid for a year. The catch was you had to enter between 10pm and 1am and the drawing was at 3am and you had to be present to win. So we headed to the Outlet at 10 to enter and thought we could just "wait it out until 3" yeah right! So we headed home about 12:30 for a little shut eye and then returned at 3am to find out we didn't win....BIG SHOCKER! Oh well it was fun though.

This year it was just our little family so we decided to go low key and go to Mimi's Cafe. Best decision we ever made! A new family tradition. And then headed to a friends for dessert. Thanks Sarah!

Big Girl Party

I promised Elle a Big Girl Party when she was Potty Trained! So that's just what we did. Any excuse to have friends over for lunch and cupcakes is a good one!

Drew was upset about not being able to play a video game and Elle felt really bad. She put her arm on him and was saying "It's OK, I'm right here" and "you k bud?"



And then in the midst of his crying Elle was showing him her new skirt and sweater and through tears "oh, that is really cute Elle"

That time again

Elle started Ballet again this month and she couldn't love it more. Also the BIG NEWS is she is Potty Trained. Literally it took less than 24 hours. She is a Dream child.
