A fun memory game!
1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

And if you're just a "lurker" that I don't know very well, please use this as an excuse to comment and say hello!

we were at The Children's Place looking around when I hear this "AHHHH!" I turn to see it is YOU and the whole display, that was above head level, was falling on you! it wasn't just any ole display but these big metal signs and people and stuff. It was so funny. I had the image in my head for the rest of the day. hey, at least you got a discount.

I knew you were going to post that memory. I almost put it on ours but then I realized it was more of a memory of me. That was scary.

Ha Ha Ha I immediately thought of the seaweed when I was reading your blog game!! That had to be the funniest memory for us all!

Oooh, I'm excited to hear about the seaweed! We already discussed this memory recently, of meeting you at Lisa's Pampered Chef party when we were both pregnant, and we found out we were due around the same time, and I was like "GEEZ, I'm huge compared to you! But I'm having my second baby." And you were like, "Yeah, me too." Thanks for making me feel fat, Paige. Thanks a lot! =) Just kidding! We're back now from SF, so let's get together next week.

My fondest memory of Paige is when we went to 6 Flags when she was two. I asked her on the way home what her favorite ride was and she said 'da boats'. It was so cute so i asked her over and over just to hear the cute way she said it and finally she said, 'da boats. don't tell me that again.' AND, she is still pretty much that blunt. HaHa

This is kind of a few memories, sorry: I remember hanging out in the Plantation Trace house, with all of the children running in and out of their bedrooms, and little Paris (she was little Paris then!!) getting into everything we were playing with, and that your Daddy showed Paint horses that were so beautiful. Your Mom was always downstairs cleaning up and decorating the dining room! And, I remember when we went to a church dinner at someones house and you introduced me to your male friend Paige. Me, You, Rachel, Cristina and Angela all had the same Nike shoes and we were so popular! Ha! For seventh grade anyway! Then you changed schools to Loyola :)

Paige said...

Oh my gosh Paige (Atkins) I can't believe you remember all of that. Except I was the one who showed horses I donn't think my Dad ever did. Oh th memories. Yep, Paris is 14 now and taller then me!

You are so cute and friendly! Too bad the memory I will share is not one of your friendliest since it involved a very overweight Native American father who got told by my itty bitty blonde friend.....Paige.
I love it, not a bad friend to have on your side.

My memories of you aren't really "together with me" memories since you were what, 16? when I married your bro. Since you've grown up and been married our memories are of shopping and sushi. boring I know!

Paige said...

Kirsten, Are you kidding my 2 favorite things Shopping and Sushi!

Juliette, You ain't seen nothin' yet. jk

Hmmm...funny memory. Well this is funny to me now even more, but I remember when Paige found out she was pregnant she was so excited because she wouldn't have to go to work anymore. Ha. So... how is "no work"?? (Jared just found out about the reunion, in fact he said there was a "rumor". Do you have details? We'll plan Tues. then.)

Kirsten Brockner said...

your friend's comment about not having to "work" anymore cracked me up!!! you're funny. I remember working part-time after I had the kids and going into work was sometimes so relaxing.

When I think of Paige, I think of Girls Night Out and dinner. You are always one to have a good time and are fun to be with and make it a good time for others.

A funny memory I have of Paige and I is when we were both pretty young and we were taking a bath together when we decided to play a game. The game was whoever could keep their feet in the hot water the longest would win.
Well just so her little sister wouldn't beat her she poops in the water so i would get out and she would win!! Ha Ha it's probably a pretty frequent memory i think about and I will never forget it! Love you Paige

that's hilarious!!! i never knew that. a bathtub memory i have with paige is when it was bathtub time and paige would be so mad at me for some reason (i was probably aggravating her) and she wanted to tattle on me (which was very often) so i would jump in the bathtub with my panties on. and she would just laugh and laugh and forget she was mad at me...so i wouldn't get told on! (right then anyway) She loved to tattle!!!

Mary Ann, I think you are making that up. I have NO memory of that.

Piper, That worked like a charm. Don't tell Drew that trick. I often think of this memory too. Along with Mary Ann's memory remember when we would go outside in hardly any clothes on in the winter and see who could stay out the longest. You know with those freezing winters in Louisiana it had to be a freezing 60 degrees. Oh, how I wish.

Unknown said...

Sadly, I am NOT making that up! We were in mom and dad's bathroom in plantation trace.

Another good memory I have is when we
were in Florida on our annual summer vacation and some girls my friend and I did not know were picking on us and being mean. I told Paige about it
and she went to the lobby with us and
found the girls and told them off for us!! It was so sweet! I can't remember what you said to them.

Anonymous said...

what about when paige beat that little girls ass in florida with her broken arm in a cast? that was classic. it doesn't take people long to know not to mess with paige brockner stanley. even when she was a little girl.

Paige said...

Let's just clarify that I was a little girl too. Actually if I recall that girl was a good 4-6 in taller than me.

i feel so left out all my sisters have these memories and i was too little to remember them!
